Northern WI Knights Spring 2026 – Program Overview
Over the past year, the Northern WI Knights program has continued to grow across Central and Northern Wisconsin. With that growth, we are structuring our Spring 2026 season to allow for more flexibility, better competitive balance, and clearer pathways for players.
Our goal this spring is simple:
group players by similar age and skill level, place them on competitive teams, and provide a fun, development-focused spring tournament experience.
Competitive Spring Teams (Tryout Required)
Any player interested in participating on a competitive spring team is expected to attend a tryout/evaluation.
- Tryouts are organized by birth year
- All competitive players attend a tryout, regardless of potential team placement
- Evaluations allow us to build teams at different competitive levels when numbers allow
- Girls who would like to tryout for both coed Knights and Lady Knights program must come to both tryouts (birth year tryout AND lady knights tryout)
Based on tryout evaluations, players may be placed on:
- Knights Black – top competitive teams
- Knights Green – competitive development teams.
- Lady Knights – girls competitive development teams
Some birth years may have multiple teams, while others may be combined, especially at the Green level, to align with traditional Mite / Squirt / Peewee / Bantam groupings. *Players may bump up a birth year if deemed appropriate after evaluations.*
